Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive (Accounting) to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and Indian taxation, MIS report, along with hands-on experience in accounting software such as Zoho Books or Tally.

You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting audits, and providing management with timely financial insights and MIS reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
• File GST returns and TDS returns within deadlines
• Perform bank reconciliations and expense tracking
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, payments, and financial records
• Work on Zoho Books / Tally or similar accounting software
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
• Prepare MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review
• Analyze financial data to provide insights on revenue, expenses, and performance
• Support process improvements to enhance financial efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant or Account Executive in finance/accounting
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Tally, or similar accounting software
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, reporting, data handling)
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in startup or SaaS environment
• Exposure to MIS reporting and financial analysis
• Understanding of business KPIs and revenue tracking
