Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM (occasional Saturdays)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Fitter candidate to join a busy steel fabrication team. The Structural Fitter role is responsible for accurately fitting, aligning, and preparing structural steel components used in large and complex projects. This position is ideal for someone who excels in blueprint reading, precision measuring, and safe operation in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tape measurements
• Fit and align structural components in preparation for welding
• Work safely around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, and power equipment
• Follow all safety protocols in this SAFETY SENSITIVE position
• Support welders and fabricators as needed
• Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the assembly process
• Perform all tasks according to company safety and productivity standards
• Must be able to pass a written fitter test

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measurements
• Previous welding or fabrication experience is a plus
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Ability to work safely in environments involving cranes, forklifts, and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Reliability and consistent attendance required
