Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for operating a 60-ton brake press and assisting with a 20 kW laser cutting machine to produce precision metal components.

This Brake Press Operator position requires strong fabrication knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple machines while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Brake Press Operator role includes:

• Operate a 60-ton brake press to bend and form metal components to specification
• Run and monitor a 20 kW laser cutting machine for precision part production
• Set up machines, adjust tooling, and perform basic maintenance
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining production workflow
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production needs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining or fabrication experience preferred
• Experience operating brake presses and/or laser cutting machines strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when required

Preferred Skills

• ProNest software experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple production tasks efficiently
