Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned sales veteran to develop our enterprise sales team and process. This person should have a passion for identifying customer pain points, establishing a good solution fit, and articulating the value proposition to complex buying organizations. You will be integral in developing our sales team and processes.  

Position Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in selling B2B SaaS or asset management products to large customers, preferably to financial institutions
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and sales management
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points and/or requirements and correlating SmartX’s potential value proposition for the customer
  • Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
  • Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams without necessarily taking the lead
  • Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Take a consultative approach to identifying customer pain points and explaining how SmartX’s products can provide a cost effective solution
  • Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycle
  • Work with product and sales engineering to ensure that customer requirements are met
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email
  • Act as the subject matter expert on the SmartX product offerings/solution development skills
  • Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
  • Present solutions, gather feedback, and develop custom proposals for customers
  • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application
