Opportunity
 We seek an individual with the drive and ability to evangelize the SMArtY Program message to the wealth advisor/RIA community, asset management community, TAMP marketplace to cultivate deals, help our customers with their most pressing challenges, and scale their businesses. Our sales development representatives must be tech-savvy, knowledgeable about managed accounts, TAMPs, and UMAs, and passionate about our product and the problems we solve. 
SMArtY is our manager-sponsored strategist platform built to let advisors harness powerful managed-account capabilities, tax-focused investing, and cost-effective investment operations solutions.


Position Requirements

  • The capability of understanding customer opportunities and/or requirements and correlating SMArtY’s potential value proposition for the customer
  • Solid and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, and presentation
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts.
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas and proven execution strategies
  • Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part our achievement of our goals and objectives
  • Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win
  • A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
  • The ability to communicate the value of Unified Managed Accounts (UMA’s), Managed Portfolio Solutions, Asset Management Solutions, and an RIA’s use of a TAMP solution

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful follow-through of the sales process by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM application. 
  • Contribute to the sales team in driving new business.
  • Become an expert on the SMArtX platform and SMArtY Program
  • Perform live platform sales demos. Follow up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities that provide appropriate information at the right time for interested prospects.
  • MANAGE CRM and marketing tech 
  • Be responsible for prospecting, qualification of leads, and closing new business,
  • Act as the subject matter expert on the SMArtX and SMArtY product offerings
  • Cold call into prospects generated by a variety of collaboration partners. 
  • Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle.
  • Profile strategic accounts to identify key individuals, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to start the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with sales marketing and Manager Solutions team members on a strategic sales approach.
  • Comfort with and ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed
