Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Implementation and Technical Solutions to lead initiatives that expand our product offerings and support our clients. This role involves overseeing the software development lifecycle for client requests, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of financial software products, and actively participating in technical tasks. The ideal candidate must possess both technical and client-facing skills that enhance their project management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans for complex implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

  • Track implementation progress using internal and client feedback, and report these metrics to the executive team.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

• Client Onboarding & Integration:

  • Guide clients through SMArtX onboarding based on their implementation plans.

  • Schedule and direct onboarding and check-in calls using client project plans.

  • Identify and initiate new integrations required for successful implementation, managing and maintaining a list of active integrations.

• Internal Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data alignment and smooth transitions.

  • Facilitate urgency and ensure active progress on implementation tasks.

• Documentation & Solutioning:

  • Create comprehensive public-facing documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.

  • Define, optimize, and implement solutioning processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the sales and implementation cycles.

  • Expand the client-facing knowledge base and internal documentation related to implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of APIs, the investment industry, and the broader technology landscape, including SQL, Postman, REST APIs, and Python.

  • Experience with API-first products and implementing API-first infrastructures.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Hubspot, AWS, and S3.

• Leadership:

  • Proven track record in growth-stage startups, demonstrating the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

  • Experience in building and nurturing a culture of innovation and collaboration within a team.

• Financial Technology Expertise:

  • Expertise in wealth platform technology and portfolio management, including trading, rebalancing, billing workflows, and CRM systems.

• Communication & Problem-Solving:

  • Strong social, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and project management skills.

• Education & Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in the financial technology industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
