Job Brief: 

SMArtX Advisory Solutions is looking for a SQL data expert to support the investment process at SMArtX.  We are looking for candidates with excellent SQL skills and a detailed understanding of how data impacts investment operations, Corporate Actions, Trade Life Cycle, etc.  The role requires someone who can roll up the sleeves and perform the daily tasks to manage daily data quality.  


Responsibilities:

• Learn the SMArtX data structure and process and perform daily data management tasks to ensure timely and accurate data.
• Perform Data Management procedures including corporate action procedures and price validation procedures
• Help research and resolve data discrepancies and inquiries from internal and external SMArtX users. 
• Manage data validation procedures and exception handling procedures.
• Work with data vendors to prevent data issues and ensure best in class data quality.
• Work with SMArtX Technology, Product, and Operations to support internal Data Management needs.

Skills Required: 

• Problem Solving and Data Analysis
• SQL Expert
• Experience in financial services operations, portfolio accounting, corporate actions, security master, performance
• JIRA experience
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Technical written skills preferred
• Advanced Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
