SMArtX uniquely builds unified managed accounts solutions by leveraging its cloud-based technology, micro-services infrastructure, and APIs to simplify the investment management process for enterprise and advisory clients.

We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join SMArtX. The Billing Specialist will play a crucial role in the Accounting team, maintaining revenue accuracy.   

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide monthly reporting to clients detailing applicable fees & fee collection statuses.
• Reconcile cash collections from client accounts at multiple custodians
• Invoice clients for monthly & quarterly fees
• Calculate payout amounts to advisors and money managers
• Fulfill client refund requests
• Field client inquiries and submit and track related support tickets
• Assist finance department with ad hoc reporting and projects
• Comfortable working with large data sets
• Learn and navigate new software platforms proprietary to SMArtX
• Communication and Organization skills with multiple open tasks, communicate professionally with clients on a daily basis
• Create and distribute Excel-based reports
• Manipulate Excel spreadsheets with Index Matching, Pivot tables, and Sumifs
• Customer service experience
• Able to track and follow up with multiple work tickets
• Maintain and verify client pricing within our software platform

Requirements:

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
  • Pivot tables
  • Index/Matching
  • Sumifs
• Nested formulas
• SQL Server proficiency is a plus
• 1+ years of finance experience is a plus
• 1+ years of brokerage service experience is a plus
• Experience working with large datasets is a plus
• Client Service 
• Associate Accounting degree a plus.
