SMArtX uniquely builds unified managed accounts solutions by leveraging its cloud-based technology, micro-services infrastructure, and APIs to simplify the investment management process for enterprise and advisory clients.
We are looking for a top-level Billing Specialist to join SMArtX. The Billing Specialist will play a crucial role in the Accounting team to maintain all revenue accuracy. 
 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Reconcile monthly revenues generated from clients and corresponding revenue share amounts with key partner vendors
• Provide monthly reporting to clients detailing applicable fees & fee collection statuses
• Reconcile cash collections from client accounts at multiple custodians
• Invoice clients for monthly & quarterly fees
• Calculate payout amounts to advisors and money managers
• Fulfill client refund requests
• Field client inquiries and submit and track related support tickets
• Assist finance department with ad hoc reporting and projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
  • Pivot tables
  • Index/Matching
  • Sumifs
• Nested formulas
• SQL Server proficiency is a plus
• 1+ years of finance experience is a plus
• 1+ years of brokerage service experience is a plus
• Experience working with large datasets is a plus
