We are looking for a great Business Development Manager with the right knowledge and experience of the restaurant sector to join our team and help grow our business operations across Ghana. As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for business development of SamDad Food Ltd with the key focus of generating new business across Ghana.

The role involves networking and developing client relationships to position SamDad Food Ltd as their preferred online takeaway listing partner.

You will be expected to provide excellent customer service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will have an understanding of the restaurant/hospitality industry; strong attention to detail and must be well organised. Your role will be to help list our website!

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience for future personal growth and development. This position will report directly to the Managing Director and will involve working closely with all restaurant managers

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople


Job Skills:

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field.
