Job Description – Assistant Manager Accounts

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Accounts to oversee accounting operations, bookkeeping activities, procurement coordination, and government tender documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Tally, and the ability to manage financial records efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure proper record keeping.

  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment records.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and management summaries.

Bookkeeping & Documentation

  • Maintain accounting records and supporting documents in compliance with company policies.

  • Ensure timely updating of financial data in Tally.

  • Organize and maintain financial files and records for audit purposes.

Procurement Support

  • Coordinate with the Director and procurement team regarding vendor management and purchasing activities.

  • Support procurement-related documentation and financial verification processes.

Government Tender Management

  • Apply for government tenders through relevant portals.

  • Prepare, maintain, and manage tender-related documentation and records.

  • Ensure compliance with tender submission requirements and deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

✅ 3–4 years of relevant experience in Accounts and Finance

✅ Strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime

✅ Good knowledge of bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounting principles

✅ Experience in handling government tender documentation is preferred

✅ Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools

✅ Strong organizational and documentation skills

✅ Good communication and coordination abilities
