Job Description – Assistant Manager Accounts

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Accounts to oversee accounting operations, bookkeeping activities, procurement coordination, and government tender documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Tally, and the ability to manage financial records efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure proper record keeping.
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment records.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
Assist in preparing financial reports and management summaries.
Bookkeeping & Documentation
Maintain accounting records and supporting documents in compliance with company policies.
Ensure timely updating of financial data in Tally.
Organize and maintain financial files and records for audit purposes.
Procurement Support
Coordinate with the Director and procurement team regarding vendor management and purchasing activities.
Support procurement-related documentation and financial verification processes.
Government Tender Management
Apply for government tenders through relevant portals.
Prepare, maintain, and manage tender-related documentation and records.
Ensure compliance with tender submission requirements and deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
✅ 3–4 years of relevant experience in Accounts and Finance
✅ Strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime
✅ Good knowledge of bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounting principles
✅ Experience in handling government tender documentation is preferred
✅ Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools
✅ Strong organizational and documentation skills
✅ Good communication and coordination abilities
