Job Responsibility
1. ECL Model Development & Monitoring:
Design, build, and validate Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models in line with IND-AS 109.
Develop PD, LGD, and EAD models using internal data and macroeconomic overlays.
Ensure periodic back-testing, model recalibration, and documentation.
2. ICAAP Framework & Reporting:
Lead the development and annual review of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP).
Identify material risks, conduct stress testing, and prepare ICAAP reports for board and regulatory submission.
Work with finance and business teams to assess capital requirements under base and stressed scenarios.
3. Risk Modelling & Analytics:
Build quantitative models to assess credit risk across different borrower segments and geographies.
Perform portfolio segmentation and early warning signal (EWS) modeling.
Contribute to the development of scorecards and risk rating models.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Governance:
Ensure compliance with NHB/RBI guidelines related to credit risk and capital adequacy.
Support internal and external audits, including model validation and regulatory reviews.
Maintain detailed documentation and model governance standards.
5. Cross-functional Support:
Collaborate with Credit, Collections, Finance, and Tech teams to gather data, automate models, and integrate into core systems.
Provide insights and support risk-based decision making for new product launches and policy changes.

Need someone from Bank / NBFC working in Risk department and major activities must be:
a. Liquidity Risk
b. ECL model
