The ideal person for this position is a self-starter that leads up, down, and sideways. Below are the key responsibilities and requirements for this position:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use the marketing automation platform, targeted emails, and messaging to drive more pipeline to ultimately close additional business
  • Create and refine email strategy to align with the overall company/marketing team goals
  • Fully manage our marketing automation platform – Marketo
  • Craft, evaluate and revise email streams based on our audience and continually understand their pain points
  • Create executive-level reports to show how email streams are doing as a large part of our marketing strategy
  • Up-level the MAP/email process and how it integrates into the overall ABM Strategy
  • Identify trends in the market by analyzing audience engagement and continually refine content and processes to improve email performance


  • Expert in MAP platforms, preferably Marketo
  •  Ability to Identify and analyze target audience behaviors to find trends
  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns and automation flows
  • Strong proofreading skills focused on emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
  • Write newsletters including all company updates
  • Manage email databases for accuracy and cleanliness
  • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
  • Show exceptional internal communication habits and responsiveness
  • Ferocious attention to detail and a willingness to sink your teeth into a project until it’s both beautifully crafted and sets us apart in the market
  • A rapid and consistent follow-up style that continually inspires confidence
  • Infectious and positive energy and a collaborative spirit that adds to and brings out the best in the collective marketing team
  • A curious nature, that’s always looking at better, more efficient ways to do things (technology or process), and continually helps keep the work on the edge of industry best practices and technology

Nice to haves:

  • ABM experience
  • HTML CSS experience
  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience in SFDC
  • Experience working with sales emails and platforms like outreach or SalesLoft
  • Ability to manage integrations with a MAP like Marketo
  • Cold prospect emailing experience vs. only opt-in audiences
