Who we are:

Launched in February 2020, Edlink is the fastest and easiest way for a learning platform to integrate with school data systems. Edlink is on a mission to improve the quality of & access to education through the use of technology.

Today, Edlink is working behind the scenes to help almost 10 million students get logged into all the various learning platforms they use. We're making sure teachers aren't spending their "free" periods copy + pasting grades from one system to another, and we're trusted to exchange sensitive data securely by tech administrators and leaders in over 1000 US K-12 school districts, and growing.

We're a small, (4 team members) high performing startup, located in Austin, Texas.

What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate will not just be an employee. They will one of the first hires outside of the founding team, and will have the opportunity to contribute massively to the growth and direction of the organization as a whole.

What you'll do:

  • Lead client implementations of the Edlink API from planning to launch.
  • Become an expert in the implementation possibilities and details of the Edlink API in order to advise clients in detail on best practices to achieve particular business outcomes.
  • Provide direct support to clients (across all organizational levels) to coordinate implementation activities.
  • Provide feedback to the Edlink product development team on the onboarding and implementation process to enable scalability and consistency in the future.
  • Develop an onboarding and implementation process, standard operating procedure & best practices.
  • Proactively identify and communicate implementation risks to appropriate parties.
  • Deliver informal training for end-users when needed.
  • Contribute to documentation & presentations for both internal and external consumption (e.g. configuration guides, training materials, on-boarding guides, etc.).
  • Contribute to the vision and mission of Edlink by helping where you can – we are a fast-growing technology company and job requirements are subject to frequent changes

Who you are:

  • 1+ years in an implementation specialist or similar role, working on deploying software for customers
  • Experience implementing SaaS software products/applications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on quality over quantity
  • Excellent communication skills (customer-facing and internal), ability to collaborate with team members with different backgrounds
  • Nice to have: Experience working in startups, or startup-like environments
