Job Brief:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. The CNA or CMA will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and provide direct patient care in a variety of RECOVERY CENTER LOCATIONS WITHIN NORTH CAROLINA.
Responsibilities:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will:
- Provide direct patient care in RECOVERY CENTER settings under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Take vital signs, administer medications, and assist with medical procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse if applying as a Certified Medical Assistant.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with patients and their families.
- Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
- Work independently and as part of a team, following instructions as needed.
- Lift and move patients as necessary.
- Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay current with industry developments.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a CNA or CMA training program and with certification
- Valid CNA or CMA license in North Carolina
- Current CPR/ BLS certification
Other Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay current with industry developments
