Interested candidates are required to have two  (2) years of hands-on experience in web design/development with proven records & mastery.
They must be able to show work done during this period, will to be full time from Monday-Fridays 8:00 H- 17:30 H =Saturday 9:00 H -13:00 H, must also be spontaneous in working under professional pressure.

Required Qualification / Skills

• An HND or bachelor's degree, diploma or certificate in web design, graphic design, or computer science, with demonstrated experience.
• Core requirement: Excellent & fast in developing professional websites with cms like WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Prestashop, or open cart. Must have a portfolio of at least three(3) websites designed and existing for at least two(2) years.
• Additional advantage: Proficiency in following
  • programming languages: HTML / CSS/Javascript/Php/Python;
  • The following Frameworks: React, Node, Angular, Vue, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Django
• Experience with graphic design software (e.g, Photoshop and Illustrator) as well as good visual design sense
• Working knowledge of web hosting servers and databases.
• Ability to conceptualize ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to web pages.
• Knowledge of web standards compliance, SEO, and web accessibility best practices
• Collaborative work: Bitrix, Drive, GIT, SVN, Trello, etc.
• Must be able to develop an average of three(3) to five( 5) simple websites monthly.
• Must live/stay in Douala or willing to stay in Douala. No remote or Freelance!

Duties / Responsibilities

• Producing website designs and sample sites
• Meeting and discussing requirements and/or project progress
• Presenting and receiving feedback about draft sites
• Conducting website testing
• Giving a digital re-touch / edit to images
• Optimizing sites for maximum speed and scalability
• Ensuring website function and stability across devices ie desktop, mobile, tablet

• Passion and interest in the mission and objectives of VTC.
• Good team spirit and communication skills
• Ability to speak and write good English as well as French.
• Ability to work and interact with people of different backgrounds
