Job Brief:Housekeeping Room Attendant
Responsibilities:
Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required.
Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.
good knowledge of the system work, and the softwarer.
Supervises housekeeping staff and coordinates staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residents rooms and community grounds.
Conducts regular inspections of all resident rooms, public areas and bathrooms.
Plans and schedules cleaning programs, including but not limited to annuals, move-in preparations and carpet cleaning.
Ensures on housekeeping inventory, supplies or equipment are ordered, as well as being handled and maintained safely.
Ensures staff is trained on the safe handling of cleaning chemicals in accordance with department and is compliant with state, federal and local standards.
