Job Brief:Housekeeping Room Attendant


Responsibilities:

  • Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.

  • Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required.

  • Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.

  • Providing training to the housekeeping staff.

  • Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.

  • Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.

  • Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.

  • good knowledge of the system work, and the softwarer.

  • Supervises housekeeping staff and coordinates staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residents rooms and community grounds.

  • Conducts regular inspections of all resident rooms, public areas and bathrooms.

  • Plans and schedules cleaning programs, including but not limited to annuals, move-in preparations and carpet cleaning.

  • Ensures on housekeeping inventory, supplies or equipment are ordered, as well as being handled and maintained safely.

  • Ensures staff is trained on the safe handling of cleaning chemicals in accordance with department and is compliant with state, federal and local standards.
