Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor clients and record vital signs as required
  • Assist with medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations
  • Prepare nutritious meals based on individual dietary requirements and assist with meal planning
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment through light housekeeping
  • Safely operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other transfer equipment
  • Document client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental and emotional well-being
  • Follow individualized care plans for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory-related conditions
  • Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities when needed
  • Follow all safety procedures, including CPR and First Aid protocols

Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication assistance, dementia care, autism support, or social work is beneficial.

Comprehensive training will be provided. Above all, we value candidates who demonstrate compassion, reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
