We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Specialist to work within our Quality Assurance Department.  Background in Chemistry or Chemical Handling preferred. Read more to learn about the responsibilities of this position: 


  • Accurately complete documentation to satisfy customer requests. 

  • Draft SDS’s in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory statutes. 

  • Maintain current TTB registrations and Kosher certifications.  

  • Carry out Food Safety activities and inspections as needed.


  • Computer skills include; contact management systems, database software, internet software, inventory software, project management software, spreadsheet and word processing software

  • Maintain current training in accordance with relevant/applicable software – i.e., MSDGen, Tracegains, SBT, ABAS, etc.

  • Ability to effectively communicate to clients, suppliers, manufacturing operators, etc.


  • Accurately completes open customer requests (i.e., customer questionnaires, audit questionnaires, etc.) for a variety of technical documents including but not limited to SDS’s and technical data sheets.

  • Manage the information required to support Kosher and HALAL certification. Interface with suppliers and religious certifying bodies accordingly.

  • Coordinate the technical information required for TTB Submissions and submit for approvals as needed

  • Assemble documentation to support Organic Certification and submit for approvals as needed

  • Effectively organize and manage numerous diverse projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment with ever changing due dates.

  • Support Food Safety Activities as needed to include

    • Swabbing – ATP, Allergens, Pathogen, etc.

    • Environmental Monitoring

    • Water Sampling in accordance with predefined schedule

    • Inspections – Monthly VIR and/or daily monitoring of plant Food Safety compliance

    • Daily Checks/verifications - Metal Detector, MFG and DC Quaternary

    • Support Food Safety requirements as directed by the Food Safety Team Leader
