We are currently seeking a highly motivated and licensed real estate agent to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: As a licensed real estate agent at Uptown Properties, you will be responsible for assisting clients in buying and selling properties.  Your primary focus will be to provide professional guidance, build relationships, and negotiate transactions to ensure a seamless and satisfying experience for our clients. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the real estate market, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect and generate leads through various channels, such as networking, referrals, online platforms, and marketing initiatives.
  2. Conduct comprehensive market research to stay informed about current market trends, property values, and competitive listings.
  3. Assist clients in the buying, selling, and leasing processes by understanding their needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
  4. Conduct property showings and open houses to showcase listings to potential buyers and tenants.
  5. Prepare and present comparative market analysis (CMA) reports to clients to help them make informed decisions about pricing and negotiations.
  6. Negotiate offers, contracts, and lease agreements on behalf of clients to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  7. Provide guidance and advice to clients on financing options, property inspections, and legal requirements.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, transactions, and listings in the company's CRM system.
  9. Collaborate with other real estate professionals, such as mortgage brokers, attorneys, and home inspectors, to facilitate smooth transactions.
  10. Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and licensing requirements to provide informed advice to clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Valid and active real estate license in Oregon or Washington. If you do not currently have one, Uptown Properties will assist in you obtaining one. 
  2. Proven track record of success as a real estate agent, with a strong sales and negotiation background.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  4. In-depth knowledge of the local real estate market, including current market trends, pricing strategies, and property types.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple clients and transactions simultaneously.
  6. Proficiency in using real estate databases, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and other industry-related tools.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and attend networking events as needed.
  9. A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for property showings and client meetings.
  10. A commitment to upholding ethical standards and legal requirements in all real estate transactions.
