Job Description

UpHill is making healthcare safer by delivering clinical performance analysis software-as-a-service to hospitals. We're backed and trusted by Luz Saúde, Busy Angels, Caixa Capital and Novartis.

Today we're looking for a Frontend Developer to join our talented team and help us revolutionize healthcare, minimize medical error and thus improve patient outcomes.

So...

If you want to build a product and not just a codebase, if you love to make brilliant designs come alive, if DRY is your middle name, if you strive to be at the forefront of javascript frameworks (even though you know that is beyond the bounds of possibility), if pointless lines of code in college made you sick, if apps slower than lightspeed are a no-go and if you've ever noticed that healthcare IT is still stuck on the verge of the industrial revolution...

Then you really have to meet us.

Seriously. UpHill is your home to grow.

On your journey with us, we'll kindly ask you to help us with this:

  • Develop and implement front-end Javascript for kick-ass SPAs
  • Discuss and plan innovative user experiences with designers
  • Develop reusable JS components
  • Build products you and others will fall in love with

  • Deep awareness of browser quirks and compatibility issues.
  • Experience investigating and improving JavaScript performance.
  • Passion for working on an agile, fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Perks

  • Highly competitive compensation package (equity and salary).
  • Health & dental insurance.
  • New Macbook Pro and budget for peripherals.
  • Flexible schedule, open vacation policy and birthday day-off.
  • Budget for your continuous education plan, drafted by you.

  • Team holidays.
  • Office freebies.
