Job Brief: United Wholesale Grocers Limited have 3 have branches, 2 in Glasgow and 1 at Gateshead in the North East of England. We are primarily a Cash & Carry Wholesale business with a wide product portfolio consisting of Beers, Wines, Spirits, Soft Drinks, Confectionary, Crisps and Snacks, Household and Grocery. This is a full time permanent role. Shifts are normally 9am - 5pm and will include Saturday working.  


Responsibilities: 

• Merchandising
• Stock replenishment following correct procedures
• Taking responsibility for the zone that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
• Supporting other departments as required
• Answering Customer Queries

Skills Required:

• Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
• Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good time management as you will be working at speed
• Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet targets
• Able to work quickly and to deadlines
• Confidence using handheld computerised tills and barcode scanners
• Excellent customer service skills
