Timberline Contracting is seeking a Residential Estimator familiar with JobTread Software to join our team. As a key player in the construction industry, Timberline Contracting is dedicated to providing high-quality residential construction services. The Residential Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate cost estimates and project timelines.

Department: New Home Construction

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize JobTread Software to create detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
  • Analyze project blueprints and specifications to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements
  • Prepare and submit bids to clients in a timely manner
  • Manage change orders
  • Prepare estimate vs actual reports
  • Help with materials purchasing
  • Monitor project costs and adjust estimates as needed throughout the construction process

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in residential construction, estimating or accounting
  • Estimating experience not required with a strong history in construction management
  • Proficiency in JobTread Software (will train)
  • Strong ability to form relationships with subcontractors
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Seeking full-time employment

Job Type: Full-time only. We are not seeking to outsource this position to an estimating company.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience
