Job Responsibilities:
- Perform remote support, troubleshooting, and network monitoring
- Perform network maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades and best practice implementation
- Ability to quickly prioritize and make quick decisions and recommendations
- Participate in SWAT Team as necessary for onsite/unplanned (Reactive Alert emergencies
- Ability to work with top-level executives in a professional and expeditious manner
- Maintain accurate ticket details and time reporting on a daily basis
- Flexibility to work different shifts on an as-needed basis
- Participate in regularly scheduled team huddles, prepared to report on your individual metrics including reasons for deviation
- Member of On-Call rotation as scheduled and required to support our clients
- Keep documentation up-to-date

Skills and Experience of an IT Support Engineer:
- Diagnose & Resolve hardware and software issues
- Hardware troubleshooting knowledge required.
- Experience with major hardware vendors – Dell, HP, etc.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems – desktop and server
- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Exchange, SQL, etc.) required
- Experience with Hyper-V virtualization is required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office365 is required
- Advanced networking knowledge (VLAN, DNS, switches, firewalls, VPN, etc.) is required
- Experience with wireless systems and technologies
- Experience hyper-converged infrastructure is a plus
- Experience with cloud hosting services is a plus (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with network security is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of ConnectWise & LabTech is a plus
- General understanding of VoIP systems a plus.
- Scripting skills are a plus
