The Goddard School located in Pflugerville, TX is looking for experienced Lead Teacher for our Toddlers program (18-36 months).

Our Lead Teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. They will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment and work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

General Qualifications

• Prior experience in the role at a licensed childcare center
• CDA or a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
• Knowledge of Texas Rising Star (TRS) and/or NAEYC standards is a definite plus
• Ability to create age-appropriate lesson plans
• Comfortable using technology and iPad apps for documenting lesson plans and daily activity reports for children
• Excellent classroom management skills, especially when dealing with behaviors in the class
• Is dependable, adaptable and enjoys working in teams
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
