Exceptional Barista Position at a neighborhood Chocolate Cafe In the Rockridge district of Oakland. We are looking to fill two positions for self managed, chocolate and coffee loving Cafe workers. High responsibilty position that involves cross training in all aspects of the cafe.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, such as Hot Chocolates, Espresso drinks and Teas
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- You will be expected to quickly gain knowledge about the retail artisanal chocolates and offerings 
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Assist with food preparation, Cleaning, Stocking and Receiving as needed
- Attractively and efficiently stock and receive retail chocolate bars and items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Experience:
- Previous barista experience and a sincere love of beverage crafting is required
- Experienced with retail pos systems, cash handling 
- Familiarity with food prep and mechandising  is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication Teamwork and customer service skills
