Position: Cable Loom Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fabricate cable looms according to engineering specifications and industry standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to accurately complete cable assemblies.
  • Safely and effectively use a variety of tools, including wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, and soldering equipment.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications, identifying and rectifying any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Follow established production schedules and meet assigned deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide support in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements to optimize productivity and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cable assembly or a related production role is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Solid understanding of cable types, connectors, and industry-standard practices.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in cable assembly, such as wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, and soldering equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities to meet production deadlines.
  • Team player mentality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
