Salary: £24,000 per annum (3 days per week on a contractor agreement)

To continue their growth journey, we are seeking a part-time HR Manager to join their team in Brierfield, primarily focusing on HR functions related to UK employees.

Job Description: As the HR Manager for our client, you will play a pivotal role in managing the human resources functions for their UK-based team. Your responsibilities will include HR record management, employee relations, and fostering a cohesive work culture specifically for the UK staff. This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week (days can be negotiated) from 09:00 am to 03:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end HR functions for UK-based employees, including recruitment, HR record management, and benefits administration.
  • Provide guidance and support to UK employees on HR-related matters, policies, and procedures.
  • Effectively manage and resolve employee relations issues within the UK team, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored for the UK workforce.
  • Facilitate and coordinate training sessions on HR topics for UK employees.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance within the UK team, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Stay current with UK employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance for the UK workforce.

Qualifications:

  • Proven HR management experience, preferably with a focus on UK HR practices.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with the UK team effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to addressing HR challenges within the UK team.
