Job Title:​​ Customer Service Advisor

Location:​​Hybrid working – Main office, Ramsbottom.

Working Hours:​ 20 Hours Per Week

Contract Type:​Permanent

Salary Range:​​ £11.44 /hr

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join our Customer Service Team; reporting to the Customer Service Manager this individual will ensure exceptional customer service is provided in every situation and via every channel, and to enhance customer relationships and meet organisational and operational objectives.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Achievement and maintenance of agreed customer service levels and standards

• Handle customer escalations 

• Improve quality of service.

• Communicating with customers by email, letter, telephone and other channels in a timely manner

• Providing product advice and help to customers.

• Professional communication with other departments, suppliers and couriers. 

• Maintain accurate and timely customer records

• Processing orders and payments

• Keeping up to date with product/bird knowledge

• Performing general administrative tasks

Essential Requirements – Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

• Using own initiative and working as part of a team

• Working in a similar role in an office setting

• MS Windows 365 inc Word and Excel

• Working to tight deadlines and under pressure

• Demonstrates a helpful, polite and confident manner

• Demonstrates problem solving abilities

• Ability to be organised and to manage own time effectively 

• The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and act as a team player

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to communicate effectively and be able to clearly explain issues to suppliers and colleagues

• Willingness to undertake further development and responsibilities

• An ability to maintain accurate up to date electronic and manual files.

• Excellent telephone manner

• Understanding of the value of diversity

• Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety

• Demonstrates a helpful, polite and confident manner

• A flexible and adaptable approach and being responsive to the needs of the business and colleagues
