Unified Restorations / The Art Guys is a premier art, textiles, and electronics services company serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Due to a seasonal surge in demand, we are seeking a temporary, part-time Warehouse Associate to join us in a 1099 independent contractor role. The position begins at two days per week, with the possibility of additional days depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Ensure accurate chain of custody and documentation for all jobs within the warehouse.
- Receive, test, triage, and document textiles & electronics as appropriate for mitigation/total loss.
- Perform mitigation/total loss services for textiles & electronics.
- Manage transfers for specialty cleaning & restoration.
- Support field Logistics Team by preparing supplies, materials, & contents for deployment.
Qualifications
- Must be willing and capable to work a flexibility work schedule. Facility hours are 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional nights, weekends, or overnight assignments as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50–60 lbs.
- Possession of a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Professional appearance and demeanor; must represent the company well in the field.
- Strong customer service skills, with a “white glove” approach to client interactions.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with art handling, appliances, or textiles is not required but is a plus—training will be provided.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
