Lead Operations for a Growing Restoration & Specialty Services Company

Unified Restorations, a fast-growing premier restoration company, is seeking a smart decision maker who is people-focused and results-driven to lead our Operations team.

This role is ideal for an operational professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, improve processes, and support company growth.

Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Unified Restorations specializes in the handling, restoration, storage, transportation, and installation of fine art, antiques, heirlooms, collectibles, textiles, specialty furniture, and electronics following fire, water, smoke, and peril-related losses.

The Director of Administration & Operations will play a critical leadership role across multiple departments, helping ensure our teams, systems, and operations run efficiently while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and support administrative staff.
  • Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and customer service.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to project timelines, collections performance, operational efficiency, and team productivity.
  • Assist leadership with staffing, organizational planning, and operational strategy.

Project Operations & Collections

  • Oversee project coordination processes to ensure efficient scheduling, communication, and execution.
  • Support teams in resolving escalated customer service or operational issues.
  • Manage collections processes and assist with reducing outstanding receivables.
  • Ensure project management and AR systems are being used effectively and consistently.
  • Work closely with leadership to improve workflow efficiency and operational performance.

Human Resources & Employee Support

  • Oversee onboarding, employee records, policy communication, and HR administration.
  • Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compliance processes.
  • Serve as a resource for employee relations, communication, and workplace support.
  • Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented company culture.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Assist with AP/AR processes, reconciliations, reporting, and financial organization.
  • Support budgeting, expense tracking, and cash flow management.
  • Coordinate documentation needed for audits, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with leadership to improve administrative systems and operational reporting.

Facilities & Compliance

  • Help oversee facility maintenance, safety programs, vendor coordination, and operational readiness.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Ensure facilities and operations remain organized, efficient, and inspection-ready.

What We’re Looking For

This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage people, oversee project operations, support human resources functions, improve collections processes, track financial progress, and drive accountability across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, administration, project management, finance, or related leadership roles.
  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with HR processes, scheduling, payroll coordination, and employee management.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, collections, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in restoration, logistics, construction services, or service-based industries is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

  • $50,000–$65,000 annually, depending on relevant experience
  • Eligible for year-end performance bonus, based on personal and company performance.
