Assistant General Manager
Help OWN the success of Kangaroo’s campus-focused business.
Working closely with your fellow student General Manager you’ll play a vital role growing the Kangaroo service by providing critical support to local marketing and operations. You’re organized, creative, passionate and self-disciplined beyond your years and open to challenges. You know how to relate to others, you know how to have fun, you value personal and professional development and you know what’s good on campus.
Working closely with the GM, you will:
·       Develop and execute marketing plans to increase brand awareness and diner acquisition
·       Recruit, train and oversee local ambassadors, to include helping to create content to promote Kangaroo
·       Organize events to build a community and experience around the brand
·       Help support Kangaroo’s local restaurant partners and courier network
·       Collaborate with Kangaroo HQ and other Kangaroo student team members to innovate solutions to challenges and implement best practices.
You have:
·       Completed at least one (1) year of your undergraduate studies.
·       Have some experience in marketing and/or communications, or a demonstrated competency and passion in this field.
·       Deep knowledge and understanding of your local campus market.
·       An ability to get things done, and the judgement to execute well.
·       A growth mindset: willingness to be coached and trained to maximize your potential and the potential of the local business you’ll be responsible for.
·       An ability to effectively manage your time: balancing your academic and professional requirements and asking for help when necessary.
·       Enjoy constantly being out and about on campus as an enthusiastic advocate for Kangaroo and our mission.
