<p>This position is responsible for assisting and handling administrative tasks for the process of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, renewals, green card sponsorship and other Immigration compliance matters. This position deals with issues of low complexity but handling various administrative tasks at the same time and workload may increase during high season.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This role is a key point to assist the Immigration Compliance Specialist and any other administrative tasks and projects assign by the US HR Compliance Manager.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Job Duties&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>1. Assist in updating Immigration log with daily activities for each active case and any paperwork filed for such case as well as uploading a digital version of the case in the case management system.&nbsp;</p> <p>2. Responsible for reviewing all incoming mail for the entire department and ensuring proper handling by the right party and in a timely manner. Prepare and coordinate with the mail room the shipment of any UPS, FedEx packages.&nbsp;</p> <p>3. Responsible for reviewing expiration reports on a monthly basis and working closely with Immigration Compliance Specialist on paperwork preparation to initiate extensions and renewals in a timely manner&nbsp;</p> <p>4. Responsible for creating termination reports for withdraw of H1B petitions and archival of employee files.&nbsp;</p> <p>5. Create CounselLink invoices for approval Maintenance of PAF files for each new case and file them electronically in a timely manner.&nbsp;</p> <p>6. Review each of the cases to be filed against information in People Hub to ensure accuracy in the immigration application filings related to employment-based Non-Immigrant and Immigrant petitions, including PERM applications..&nbsp;</p> <p>7. Maintenance of I-9 re-verifications.&nbsp;</p> <p>8. Special projects as assigned.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>1. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred but not required.&nbsp;</p> <p>2. Minimum of 1 year general Human Resources experience.&nbsp;</p> <p>3. Minimum of 1 year of immigration compliance experience or legal assistant experience&nbsp;</p> <p>4. Strong and advanced skills in Excel&nbsp;</p> <p>5. Strong written and verbal communication skills&nbsp;</p> <p>6. Strong Attention to detail and organizational skills&nbsp;</p> <p>7. Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner&nbsp;</p> <p>8. Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Office. PeopleSoft experience is a plus.&nbsp;</p> <p>9. Ability to multi-task in a high paced, quickly changing environment&nbsp;</p> <p>10. Strong customer service focused</p>
