Role Overview

We’re hiring a hands-on Dynamics 365 Developer / Technical Consultant with 6–8 years of experience to implement custom functionality, integrations, and extensions across D365 Finance & Operations (FO) and Customer Engagement (CE)/Power Platform. The ideal candidate is fluent in X++ and modern Microsoft stack technologies, experienced in full lifecycle implementations, and able to work directly with functional consultants and business stakeholders. This role requires working US Eastern Time hours and an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solutions in D365 FO (X++), Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), and D365 CE customizations (C#, JavaScript, Plugins).
  • Build and maintain integrations using Azure (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions), REST/SOAP APIs, OData, and custom services.
  • Develop extensions, form customizations, batch jobs, workflow/custom workflow activities, and performance-optimized code for D365 FO.
  • Implement data migration solutions using Data Management Framework, 
  • Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs and provide estimates, solution options, and risk guidance.
  • Create and review technical design documents, solution architecture diagrams, and deployment runbooks.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, release pipelines), manage artifacts, and automate builds and deployments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement fixes, and provide post-go-live support and hypercare.
  • Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and secure-coding practices.
  • Optimize performance for high-volume processing, batch jobs, and integrations; tune SQL queries and use best practices for caching and indexing.
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through documentation and internal training sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years of hands-on Dynamics 365 development experience, including strong X++ development for D365 FO.
  • Solid experience with Azure services for integrations and serverless compute (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management).
  • Experience building and deploying solutions using Azure DevOps (CI/CD), build/release pipelines, and environment management.
  • Skilled with Data Management Framework, data entities, custom entities, and ETL approaches (Azure Data Factory or SSIS).
  • Strong knowledge of REST/OData APIs, OAuth authentication, and writing secure, scalable integration components.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, T-SQL tuning, and performance troubleshooting in D365 contexts.
  • Experience with Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and custom connectors is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture, ISV patterns, and best practices for customizations and extensions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working US Eastern Time hours and able to start immediately.

Nice-to-Have

  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Azure, or Power Platform.
  • Experience with ISV solutions, publishing packages, and solution versioning.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker), Kubernetes basics, or infrastructure-as-code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and release governance for enterprise projects.
