Summary:
Liaisons with other departments: moves projects between team members in a timely, efficient manner. Ensures all information forms are completed and delivered in a comprehensive, accurate and timely fashion.
Responsibilities:
Maintains complete routing files for all projects.
Generates and disseminates status reports.
Tracks and updates reports with any pertinent info about client projects (This includes any attendant financial information).
Ensures schedules are adhered to.
Manages ongoing flow of work in and out creative department
Complies with quality standards for the team as set forth by department head.
Works with creative team, account management and production to generate the schedule for overall project completion and updates as needed, notifying all appropriate parties.
Works closely with upper management to identify and suggest solutions on how to improve departmental and team morale.
Creates purchase orders to work with outside vendors.
Tasks:
Attends interdepartmental briefings.
Updates schedules/estimates as needed.
Routes mechanicals/proofs to team members to review.
Releases mechanicals to Production.
Participates in weekly departmental staff meetings.
Keeps supervisor apprised of the status of work.
Qualifications:
Must have at least one year of experience within marketing or comparable industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Computer literate.
Team player.
Very organized, strong problem solving skills and detail oriented.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
