Compensation: Salary plus commission. Salary based on proven experience. One time commission on all proposals won and monthly commision on any recurring services brought in for as long as client maintains services with the company.

Job Brief:
Our company is looking for a sales rep that not only takes the lead on walk-throughs and proposals for potential clients who call in to ask for quotes, but is also ready and willing to go out and seek clients and projects without any leads.


Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Operations Department on all aspects of estimating and installation process
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Provide accurate, fairly priced, and timely quotes
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Confirm pricing with vendors prior to sending out each proposal to guarentee profit margin lands within appropriate perameters
  • Be the liason between Operations team and client until a client relationship is built with the operations manager or tech assigned to the project
  • Follow up with client at end of project to guarentee customer satisfaction
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Ensure quality of installations and service provided
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills a must

Skills Required:
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) – Associates degree preferred
  • Either a Sales/Marketing degree OR 2+ years of Sales Experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficient in verbal and written English
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Computer and networking literate
  • Able to work independently, be a self-starter, fast paced, and pay attention to detail
  • Hold or obtain a valid driver's license
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test
 
Preferred Skills:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Low Voltage/Special Systems industry and be well verse with:
    • Security Alarm Systems
    • Surveillance Systems (IP and HD)
    • Access Control Systems.
  • Having a strong working knowledge of the following systems:
    • Automation
    • Networking Systems
    • Fire Alarm Systems
    • Audio/Video both residential and professional
