Storydoor Homes Foundation (SHF), a leading shared housing non-profit, is looking for a bold and creative intern to join our Donor Relations team as a Donor Relations Manager Intern.

Job Description:
The Donor Relations Manager Intern at Storydoor Homes Foundation (SHF) will be instrumental in advancing our mission to tackle housing insecurity and support recovery across America. Your main responsibility is to create and implement targeted marketing campaigns to grow and nurture our donor base, using primarily email and cold calling as outreach strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Campaign Development: Create and implement compelling email and cold calling campaigns to attract new donors and engage our existing base, in line with our mission of providing safe and affordable housing solutions.
   
2. Donor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors through regular updates, showcasing the impact of their contributions on our community-focused initiatives.
   
3. Collaboration with Partners: Work alongside social service partners and government agencies that are integral to our operation, ensuring cohesive strategies for donor engagement and government grant and/or government contract attainment.

4. Data Management and Reporting: Utilize donor databases for tracking contributions, analyzing patterns, and identifying potential major donors. Prepare regular reports to inform strategy and measure campaign effectiveness.

5. Event Coordination: Although not a primary focus, occasionally plan and execute donor-related events to enhance engagement and support.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or pursuing bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in donor relations or fundraising, particularly within a nonprofit environment. Experience with other nonprofits is a huge plus.
- Strong proficiency in email marketing and cold calling techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Duration and Compensation:

This is a 3-month unpaid WFH internship position at SHF, with the possibility of a full-time paid position based on exceptional performance and company needs.
