StoryChief is hiring a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative!

StoryChief is a marketing tech software scale-up from Ghent. Using the StoryChief platform, marketers can easily manage their marketing content (blogs, articles, news, etc) from planning, copywriting, reviews, SEO optimization, and multi-channel publication to analyzing impact.

  • Role: Inside Sales Executive

  • Scope: Identify business pains in their content publishing process. Suggest a more streamlined process to manage their content. Identify clear advantages for the business to adopt the product.

What does your day look like as an Inside Sales Representative at StoryChief?

As our Inside Sales Representative (ISR) at StoryChief, you're the key player in connecting with potential customers who are ready to elevate their content marketing. Whether they’re starting a trial or reaching out, your mission is to find the perfect matches for our platform and introduce them to how we can streamline their content creation and distribution.

With your needle-like focus and self-starter attitude, you identify potential customers, and the gaps in their current workflows and schedule a demo with one of your colleagues for them. In this process, you will work on both inbound and outbound leads delivered by our marketers. The process differs from other sales positions as you help customers improve their businesses and that experience can be very rewarding.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • qualifying a high volume of new leads.

  • touch every lead and filter out the ones that aren't a good fit.

  • move good leads forward by scheduling demos for our Account executives.

  • know the pain points of our target audience and how you can solve them.

  • follow up with potential customers who expressed interest but didn't purchase our software.

  • collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team.

What do we expect from you:

  • Are you a junior or already have some work experience? We don’t mind, as long as you can prove you’re a hard-working person with a can-do attitude!

  • You love to talk with entrepreneurs about their businesses and identify their needs as to their workflow and business processes

  • Are patient, and emphatic, and you can keep your calm, even when things get busy.

  • You strongly believe in technology and have an affinity for cloud-based applications.

  • Have the ability to quickly build up excellent product knowledge and do what it takes to keep this up-to-date.

  • You are a friendly face who likes to help people and can have patience when needed.

Amazing bonus points 🤩

  • Master’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field.

  • Prior B2B sales experience is a plus, preferably in a tech startup environment or a digital agency. However, this is not required if you are motivated and eager to learn.

  • Fluent in French
