Job Brief:
Responsibilities:
Development and implementation of Procurement strategy for all business lines in the company.
Implement a sound vendor relationship programmes by drafting policies governing the sourcing process of the organisation.
Budgeting & cost comparison, undertake cost analysis, benchmarking and contribute to product pricing strategy.
Forecast demand and supply trends in the industry and ensure that a sound inventory management plan is implemented to mitigate risk associated with short/excess supply.
To maintain and build supplier network for critical components. Plan and undertake supplier development activities as a part of vendor management programme.
To coordinate with the manufacturing and CC team for the production schedule and implement a sound procuement plan for the materials.
To ensure material delivery as per the delivery schedule and mitigate the prodction loss arising out of shortage of materials.
To ensure that the vendor product quality is maintained by coordinating periodic vendor audits and take business decisions based on vendor ratings.
To ensure that all the purchase orders are raised on time and according to the SOB policy of the organisation.
To ensure maintenance of records as per QMS of the company and complying with the provisions of ISO procedures.
To ensure that new product development TAT is maintained.
To ensure that manpower in the department is adequately trained in all the departmental process and policies.
To enure that absenteeism an attrition is controlled in the department.
To administer HR policies and processes among team members
