Weekend Header Welder

Pay: $27+/hr.

Hours: Friday-Sunday 5AM-5:30PM or 5:30PM-5AM (Work 36, paid 40)

Test: 2G TIG Root pass and MIG fill and cap

Job Description:

Must have Tig /stick experience.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in blueprint reading for layout purposes and capable of accurately fitting and welding fabricated and forged components to assemble header components. This involves using (SMAW (GMAW), and/or (GTAW) processes. Responsibilities include positioning, aligning, and fitting components together, then tack-welding parts to secure them in place, following the correct welding processes and procedures. The candidate should be able to set up welding equipment for various types of materials. A minimum of 3-5 years of code welding experience is required. Additionally, candidates must pass a 2G plate test, which includes a GTAW root pass and an SMAW fill and cap.
