Job Title: Waterproofing and Sealing Technician
Pay: $15–$17/hour
Duration: Temp to Hire
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Location: Tulsa, OK

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring a Waterproofing and Sealing Technician to join our team in Tulsa. This role involves applying a variety of waterproofing systems and sealants to protect buildings and structures from water intrusion and moisture-related damage. The position includes both interior and exterior work and may require travel to various job sites under diverse weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect structures to assess waterproofing and sealing requirements
• Prepare work surfaces using cleaning, sanding, or blasting methods
• Apply waterproofing products, including membranes, sealants, coatings, and grouts
• Install drainage systems and vapor barriers as needed
• Repair or replace damaged waterproofing applications
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including PPE usage and proper handling of chemicals
• Maintain tools and equipment in working condition
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or job specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and contractors to complete jobs efficiently

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in waterproofing, sealing, or general construction (preferred)
• Understanding of waterproofing systems, tools, and materials
• Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights
• Physical stamina with the ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with waterproofing materials such as polyurethane, bituminous membranes, epoxy injections, or cementitious coatings
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, masonry, or concrete repair
• Certifications in waterproofing systems (from manufacturers or trade organizations) are a plus

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor work settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial job sites
• Exposure to construction-related environments including dust, noise, and chemicals
