Position Overview

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, picking orders, and preparing materials for shipment. This Warehouse Worker role ensures products are handled safely, stored properly, and shipped accurately to support both production and customer orders.

Required Experience & Skills

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and basic warehouse equipment (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Basic math and reading skills for order picking and inventory tracking
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong reliability and teamwork skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Receiving & Stocking

• Unload incoming shipments and verify delivery accuracy
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies
• Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment

Order Picking & Shipping

• Pick and pack orders based on customer or production requirements
• Prepare shipments including labeling, wrapping, and staging materials
• Load outbound trucks safely and efficiently
• Verify outgoing shipments meet quality and accuracy standards

Inventory Management

• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement within warehouse systems
• Identify shortages, damaged products, or overstock issues

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Operate warehouse equipment safely including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment issues immediately

Preferred Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with temperature variations depending on season
• Frequent lifting, bending, pulling, and carrying materials
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety footwear
