Pay: $22-25hr. (Depending on experience, 2nd shift differential)

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5AM-3:30PM OR 5PM-3:30AM (Friday-Saturday are overtime)

Job Description:

The vessel welder will perform welding tasks to assemble pressure-containing vessel equipment and components following ASME Code. The responsibilities include the set-up and execution of Quality Code Welds and Nozzle/Branch Welds using Radiographic Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT). Tasks also involve Carbon Arc Gouging, welding repairs using UT or RT methods, as well as cleaning and stamping of welds. Additionally, the role encompasses the set-up and operation of non-code vessel welds, layout and fitting of vessel components, Oxy-fuel cutting/burning, and the ability to read drawings, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR). The individual is expected to lead, plan ahead, and possess knowledge of Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), UT, and RT methods.

Requirements:

High school or vocational school diploma. Must pass qualified Welding Test. ASME/ANSI Codes experience preferred. Experience in an ISO 9000 environment preferred.
