Valve Technician
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 7 days a week
Location: Broken Arrow, OK

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Valve Technician to join our team in a dynamic industrial environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of various valve systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Maintenance
Install, maintain, and repair valves including ball, gate, globe, check, and pressure relief valves.
Perform inspections and diagnostics to ensure systems function properly.
Troubleshoot and repair valve malfunctions.
Testing and Calibration
Conduct operational tests and calibrations on valve systems.
Verify system performance under pressure and flow specifications.
Adjust valve settings according to system requirements.
Documentation
Maintain detailed records of installations, inspections, calibrations, and repairs.
Ensure all documentation complies with internal and regulatory standards.
Safety Compliance
Follow company safety procedures and industry regulations.
Perform risk assessments and ensure valve systems meet local, state, and federal requirements.
Troubleshooting and Support
Respond to emergency calls for valve repairs.
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve system issues.
Customer Interaction
Communicate with clients to assess issues and deliver prompt, professional solutions.
Ensure high levels of service satisfaction.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required (associate degree or certification preferred).
Proven experience as a Valve Technician in industrial or mechanical settings.
Proficient in valve repair and maintenance across various valve types.
Skilled in reading technical drawings and schematics.
Strong mechanical knowledge, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Comfortable working in various weather conditions and industrial environments.
