Valve Technician
· Pay: $18.00 per hour
· Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 7 days a week

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Valve Technician to join our team in a dynamic industrial environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of various valve systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Maintenance
· Install, maintain, and repair valves including ball, gate, globe, check, and pressure relief valves.
· Perform inspections and diagnostics to ensure systems function properly.
· Troubleshoot and repair valve malfunctions.
Testing and Calibration
· Conduct operational tests and calibrations on valve systems.
· Verify system performance under pressure and flow specifications.
· Adjust valve settings according to system requirements.
Documentation
· Maintain detailed records of installations, inspections, calibrations, and repairs.
· Ensure all documentation complies with internal and regulatory standards.
Safety Compliance
· Follow company safety procedures and industry regulations.
· Perform risk assessments and ensure valve systems meet local, state, and federal requirements.
Troubleshooting and Support
· Respond to emergency calls for valve repairs.
· Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve system issues.
Customer Interaction
· Communicate with clients to assess issues and deliver prompt, professional solutions.
· Ensure high levels of service satisfaction.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required (associate degree or certification preferred).
· Proven experience as a Valve Technician in industrial or mechanical settings.
· Proficient in valve repair and maintenance across various valve types.
· Skilled in reading technical drawings and schematics.
· Strong mechanical knowledge, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
· Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
· Comfortable working in various weather conditions and industrial environments.
