Trailer & Tire Mechanic

·         Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

·         Location: Broken Arrow, OK

·         Pay: $20–$23 per hour

·         Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (hours may vary based on business needs and weather)

Job Responsibilities

·         Possess a working knowledge of various tire types and sizes.

·         Change, replace, and rotate trailer tires.

·         Repair and maintain trailer lights, brakes, and air lines.

·         Be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

·         Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on trailer equipment per manufacturer and company schedules.

·         Inspect and repair trailers, including working in, on, or under trailer parts.

·         Safely walk and stand for extended periods on uneven or slippery surfaces, including outdoor work in inclement weather.

·         Safely walk, reach (including overhead), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as necessary.

·         Repair or rebuild trailer systems as needed.

·         Maintain shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.

·         Adhere to DOT, EPA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.

·         Conduct safety inspections and prepare documentation as required.

·         Participate in company training programs to stay up to date with best practices.

Physical Requirements

·         Ability to lift, bend, stretch, twist, and reach using arms and legs.

·         Remain on feet for 8 to 12-hour shifts.

·         Work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).

·         Lift objects of various sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally greater than 75 lbs).

·         Work in dusty environments.
