Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to support tooling reliability and production efficiency in a high-tech manufacturing environment. The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for building, repairing, modifying, and maintaining tools, dies, fixtures, and equipment to ensure consistent uptime and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and maintain dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures
• Support tooling setup, modification, and development for production
• Provide guidance to junior tooling staff and apprentices
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications
• Maintain accurate documentation of tool repairs, changes, and development work
• Collaborate with engineering, machining, and production teams
• Follow all LOTO, safety, and environmental procedures
• Maintain clean, organized work areas
• Support continuous improvement across tooling and production processes

Required Qualifications

• Tool & Die Maker certification or 5+ years equivalent experience
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
• Experience operating grinders, mills, lathes, and precision equipment
• Strong troubleshooting ability for dies and cutting tools
• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written & verbal)
• Experience with end forming, crimping, or bending is a plus
