Position Overview
We are hiring a skilled Sub Arc Welder to support the manufacturing of components for the natural gas industry. The Sub Arc Welder will perform high-quality welds that ensure the integrity of critical systems. This role requires a strong background in welding processes, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform sub arc welding and hand welding on critical components.
Read and interpret blueprints and welding prints.
Operate welding and cutting equipment, including flame cutters, plasma cutters, and carbon arc tools.
Execute wire and stick welding, flame cutting, fitting, and fabricating tasks.
Lay out guidelines or mark on metal parts as needed.
Ensure all welds meet 100% X-ray standards and pass NDT inspection.
Maintain productivity, punctuality, and dependability on the shop floor.
Qualifications
Ability to pass a 1G Subarc test.
Knowledge of carbon arc, 2G MIG, Fluxcore, and/or 2G Stick tests.
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documents.
Proven experience in both hand welding and sub arc welding.
Strong understanding of welding and cutting equipment.
Dependable work ethic with a commitment to safety and productivity.
Requirements
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
