Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Submerged Arc Welder (Sub Arc Welder) to join our team in Drumright, OK. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision welding operations in a manufacturing setting, primarily using the submerged arc welding process. This position requires a strong ability to fabricate and repair metal components, interpret blueprints, and ensure high-quality welds while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

·         Perform precision welding using the submerged arc welding (Sub Arc) process.

·         Fabricate and repair metal components based on blueprints and technical specifications.

·         Conduct 3G MIG/Flux welding tests to demonstrate competency.

·         Maintain quality control by ensuring welds meet industry and company standards.

·         Interpret technical drawings and work orders to execute tasks accurately.

·         Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies at all times.

·         Collaborate with supervisors and fellow welders to meet production goals.

·         Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements

·         Experience in submerged arc welding (Sub Arc) in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

·         Proficiency in MIG/Flux welding and the ability to pass a 3G weld test.

·         Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.

·         Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

·         Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in welding operations.
