Pay Rate: $20.00 - $28.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Occasional Saturday)

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Sub Arc Welder to join our team in Claremore, OK. The ideal candidate will have experience with twin and/or quad wire machines, and will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal components while ensuring that all welds meet the highest quality standards. This role requires interpreting blueprints, adhering to strict safety and quality guidelines, and passing various weld tests.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Welding & Fabrication:

o    Operate Sub Arc welding machines, including twin wire and quad wire machines.

o    Fabricate and repair metal components, ensuring precision and accuracy.

o    Follow blueprints and engineering drawings to determine welding requirements.

o    Complete welds with high attention to detail to meet company and industry standards.

·         Testing & Inspection:

o    Perform welding tests, including the One Inch Carbon Steel Plate Test with a single bevel and stringer already put in.

o    Use 5/32” wire to fill and cap the weld, passing tests including UT and X-ray.

o    Maintain adherence to safety protocols and welding procedures to ensure the integrity of each weld.

·         Safety & Compliance:

o    Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures for welding and fabrication.

o    Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

o    Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

·         Experience:

o    Minimum of 2 years of experience with Sub Arc welding.

o    Proficiency in operating twin wire and/or quad wire machines.

·         Certification & Testing:

o    Must pass the One Inch Carbon Steel Plate Test, including UT and X-ray.

·         Skills:

o    Strong understanding of welding principles and ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

o    Attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality welds.

o    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Requirements:

o    Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

o    Reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed.
